Seminars for Employees
Seminars for groups of employees can provide useful information to help employees grow and develop in their careers.

 

Career Development Seminar
This seminar is designed to guide employees in their career development planning and introduce them to strategies and tools to pursue effective planning. This seminar:

  • Provides an introduction to effective self-assessment and career planning
  • Includes information about resources and tools individuals can use to move ahead in their career planning
  • Challenges employees to identify possible career development barriers and strategies to surmount them
  • Guides employees in creating action plans for ongoing career development

Personality and Leadership Style
A seminar that uses the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the various traits associated with it to help employees understand:

  • Their own personality traits
  • How those traits affect the strategies they would use as a leader in communicating with others, making decisions, interacting with others and leading projects.

Seminars for Managers
In today's workplace, managers need to understand strategies that they can use to develop and retain their employees. Managers also need to know information about generational differences, diversity, and topics such as mentoring and networking in order to work effectively with their employees. Management Training and Leadership Development for Managers

Institute for Leadership & Talent Development 
Strengthen your organization from the inside out with seminars that guide new managers, new and emerging leaders and new supervisors in taking a leadership role in employee development and retention. By attending individual seminars or completing the Certificate in Leadership Excellence, the Certificate in Strategic Leadership or the Certificate in Supervisory Excellence, professionals can enhance their own career development and benefit the corporation or organization.

The seminars in the Institute for Leadership & Talent Development combine current information with practical methods that can help your organization avoid the high costs - both in dollars and debilitating "brain drain" - of losing talented, experienced employees.

The Certificate programs are composed of seminars designed to train new and emerging leaders, new managers, and new supervisors in the skills and techniques they need to be successful in their roles.  All half-day seminars are approved for 2.75 CEUs by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and full-day seminars are approved for 6.50 CEUs.  All seminars are conducted by expert facilitators with years of corporate and training experience.

Individuals can complete the certification program of their choice within one year or over several years - it's their choice. No matter how long it takes, upon completion, they will be ahead of the industry in talent development and retention.
