FAQs
Your various continuing and professional education courses offer CEU's? What is a CEU and what can I use them towards?
CEU stands for continuing educational unit. This is a nationally recognized system of tracking the value gained from an individual taking a continuing education course or workshop. The benefit to attending a class or workshop that offers CEU's is that the class is nationally recognized by your specific industry in terms of being quality continuing education. Some professions require a specific number of CEU hours per year to maintain certification.

I'm unemployed. Would completing a continuing education program help me land a new job?
Attending a continuing education program will make you a more knowledgeable and desirable candidate for a job. However, each field is different and you may want to consider contacting the Director of the program you are interested in to see if continuing education is the logical next step in your career path.
