Requirements to apply to the CDA program

In order to participate in the Center for Professional Development's CDA training program, you must meet the following requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age at time of application
• Ability to work and accumulate 480 hours of childcare experience with children related to the age group of the desired credential (birth to 2 years or 3 to 5 years)
